Our April Sussex Grazed share will include Hogget and Mutton sourced from Grazing manager Tom Parry, at the Sussex Wildlife Trust.

These 3 Romney Hogget and 2 Herdwick Mutton have spent their lives grazing the grasslands of the Downs, helping to manage the landscape. Now older, their meat will be beautifully complex and rich in flavour, having served their time managing the grasslands.

Dan and Jodie Simson

The Sussex Grazed team are also welcoming Dan and Jodie Simson, a husband and wife team from East Sussex, who are joining this share. They are offering a Venison ‘Browsing Box’, which is available to pre-order alongside the Hogget and Mutton.

They are passionate about culling deer to counteract the extreme damage their current numbers are causing to local landscapes and the danger they pose on highways. As a family, they believe in a field to fork approach and are keen for customers to experience venison the way they do.
