This is an award-winning community food project based in Moulsecoomb.

Gardening is taught with an ‘open to all, no experience necessary’ policy.

The project works with all types of people, young and old, pupils having problems at school, people with learning difficulties, all working together in a safe and pleasant environment.

They supply hot drinks and biscuits throughout the day and a hot meal at lunchtime.

When:

  • Tuesdays
  • Fridays

Facilities:

There is some cover and a shed with a wood burning stove if it’s really chilly.

Audience and Access:

Open to all. Please arrive at 10am on your first session so they can show you round with any other new volunteers. Wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty and wear proper boots.
