You are accessing the Brighton & Hove Food Partnership website directory – we don’t run the projects listed, we share their details to help people find local services. This page is kept updated regularly by the Food Partnership team, but please use the contact details on the listing if needed to ensure you get the most up-to-date details for this project.

The Physic Garden is a medicinal herb garden grown on Soil Association certified organic land. They grow plants that promote and help to maintain good health, including herbs, fruit, vegetables and flowers.

The garden is on a gently sloping, south-facing site, opposite the Great Wood in Stanmer Park and on the edge of the South Downs National Park. They are passionate about plants, people and wildlife. This hands-on, work-in-progress project aims to provide a wonderful outdoor space which encourages keeping healthy naturally, whilst also nurturing the plants that populate it and protecting the wildlife that inhabit it.
