Downslink YMCA allotment site for residents.
Project Green supports young people in building various skills including growing fruit and veg, woodwork, providing food and nourishment, planning, valuing & caring for the natural environment.
They run a weekly group with their residents living in supported housing to plan, budget and cook a healthy nutritious meal with the produce grown on the allotment and hostel gardens.
They offer people the space they need to feel secure, respected, heard and valued. They focus on young people and help them play an active and fulfilling role within their communities.
