Friendly allotment-based organic gardening group on a well-established site with beautiful sea views.

Founded in 1996, the Whitehawk Community Food Project is a well-known community allotment focusing on growing wholesome high-quality food all year round, utilising organic, permaculture and biodynamic principles and techniques. Through regular drop-in volunteer days, workshops, courses and visits they provide opportunities for people to learn practical subsistence food-growing and land skills. Volunteers will be rewarded with fresh seasonal produce.
When:

- Thursdays
- Sundays
Volunteer Gardening Sessions every Tuesday, Thursday & Sunday.
In Summer sessions run from 12:30pm – 4pm, in Winter from 11:00 - 3:30pm.
Tools are provided, and there is an on-site toilet and kitchen area. Please bring your own lunch

Audience and Access:
Beginners are most welcome. They will receive help and advice on all aspects of organics from composting to seed-saving.
