Woodingdean Foodbank is an additional service now offered by Woodingdean Food CIC to supplement our Social Supermarket offering and create an outlet at the other end of the village.
It is a referral only service offering a free, fixed bag of staples to those most in need in the village. Users will be able to use this service for up to six consecutive weeks, and will be signposted to other services and available help by our volunteers. We are running this as a six-month trial starting in September 2025, and will continue it, if the need is there.
Referrals to us can be made by Local Schools, The Medical Centre, Churches and the Food Hub itself.

The Foodbank is open to clients on Thursdays, from 13:00 through 14:00

Donations of food can be made to the Woodingdean Youth Centre – Warren Rd, Brighton and Hove, Brighton BN2 6BB on Friday mornings from 10:00 through 12:00. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact us via email, or drop in to the Youth Centre on a Friday morning 10:00 through 12:00
