Community Masterclass – Fish & Seafood Class with Riddle & Finns-SPACES FILLED
About this class
Learn how fish can be a healthy, affordable part of your everyday meals, whether you’re replacing meat or looking to experiment with new ingredients.
Fish is low in ‘bad’ saturated fat but high in the ‘good’ omega-3 fatty acids credited with being good for your joints and boosting your brainpower. Packed with vitamins and minerals too, it is a healthy protein alternative to meat.
This class is taught by Patrick Timpson from Brighton institution Riddle & Finns. Pat will teach you some essential skills and tips for fish and seafood preparation.
In pairs you will cook a signature dish from the restaurant (depending on the catch of the day) and then sit and enjoy a communal lunch together.
The low-cost places on this class are available thanks to Patrick from Riddle & Finns generously donating his time for this event. BNFS will also be donating fish & seafood.
Booking instructions
Who can attend?
People who are able to participate independently and attend an in person cookery session. Attendees must be either social housing residents, on benefits, or older people living alone or with a health condition.
Costs:
The cost of this class is £10.
Booking:
All participants must apply for a space on this course in advance. We will send a booking link to eligible participants around two weeks before the class where payment can be made online to confirm a place.
