It gives us great pleasure to invite our members to The Food Partnership’s Annual General Meeting and members event that will take place on Wednesday 18^th October 2023 in the Conference Room at Community Base, 113 Queens Road, Brighton, BN1 3XG.

In addition to our AGM, we will also be using this opportunity to celebrate with you, friends and stakeholders five years of the Community Kitchen.

You can reserve your place for this event below – choose your time slot depending on whether you wish to attend the AGM as well, or just the Community Kitchen celebration.

6.00 pm Arrival – tea, coffee and juice

6.30 pm AGM Business

• Approval of minutes from previous AGM.
• Report on work of BHFP.
• Thank you to Board member Jeff Howard who is stepping down.
• Continuation of second term of Oliver Sykes as Treasurer.
• Adoption of annual accounts (2022/23).
• Chance for Questions.
• Close of AGM.

7.00 pm – Following the business of the Annual General Meeting we invite you to join us to celebrate 5 years of the Community Kitchen. We will hear from a panel of speakers including staff, volunteers and participants about the impact of the Community Kitchen. It will be a chance to meet people involved in making the kitchen a success including funders, groups that hire the kitchen, the volunteers and chefs.

7.30 pm – Soup and bread and a chance to catch up with staff, volunteers, Board members and Food Partnership members.

All are welcome but only Members of the Food Partnership can vote at the AGM. Membership is free and open to anyone over 18 years old who lives or works in Brighton & Hove and supports our vision of healthy, sustainable and fair food for all.  You can register as a member here.
