About this class
Chef Kanthi brings the authentic tastes of Goa to the Community Kitchen, sharing his professional cooking techniques and flavour combinations so you can prepare a delicious Goan meal in Brighton.
Goa is a unique and exciting region of Indian famous for its beautiful coastline and delicious food. This class is a chance to taste the history of the area, with both Portuguese and Indian influences found firmly in its aromatic and flavour filled dishes.
You’ll work in pairs to create a typical menu that will include varied dishes such as:
- Chicken cafreal masala
- Sukhi potato bhaji
- Goan cabbage salad
- Coconut pulao rice.
Dietary information: This class is adaptable for vegetarian and vegan diets but this must be specified when booking. The menu is also gluten-free however we cannot guarantee the kitchen is a fully gluten-free environment. The class involves cooking with nuts & coconut.
