About this class
Chef Kanthi brings the authentic tastes of Kerala to the Community Kitchen, sharing his professional cooking techniques and flavour combinations so you can prepare a delicious Keralan meal in Brighton.
Kerala is know for its diverse cuisine, beautiful coastline and rich history. Kanthi will take you step by step through his favourite dishes from the region. Before sitting down around our communal dining table to enjoy what you have made.
You’ll work in pairs to create a typical menu that will include varied dishes such as:
- Prawn Moilee- A light and fragrant curry.
- Seasonal vegetable thoran- A delicious vegetarian dish made with coconut and spices.
- Green gram dhal.
- Lemon rice
Dietary information: The class is Gluten Free. However we cannot guarantee the Kitchen is a completely gluten free environment. This class is adaptable for vegetarian and vegan diets but this must be specified when booking. The class involves cooking with nuts & coconut.
