A very special chance to cook alongside Duncan Ray, founder of top local restaurant the Little Fish Market in Hove (awarded 3 AA Rosettes and appearing in the Good Food Guide and Harden’s).
Let Duncan share with you the essential knowhow behind sensational, seasonal fish cooking for friends and family. On this Masterclass, Duncan will demonstrate for you the knife skills needed to fillet one flat fish and one round fish before you perfect your own technical skills.
You will then prepare and cook two very different but equally delicious dishes: the first, a quick and easy homestyle midweek meal when time is short; the other, a more impressive restaurant-style affair perfect for impressing friends – especially when topped off with Duncan’s top tips on chef’s presentation. Then sit with Duncan to enjoy a specially matched wine alongside your dishes. A Masterclass that’s off the scale!

Tickets for this event are £99 per person including all equipment, food, and accompanying wines.
Any profits raised from our cookery classes support our community cookery activities – where everyone can experience the benefits of cooking and eating together, regardless of finance, confidence or ability.
Funds raised from this class will support a new cookery course for older people, particularly those who are isolated and have health conditions – building on our previous ‘Old Spice’ programme for bereaved older men. Duncan has generously donated his time for the class.
