Nourish – cookery for better mental health
About this class
Join us for our new, Nourish course which explores the many ways that cookery can support better mental health – building up routine and feelings of confidence, getting creative with flavours, eating healthier snacks & meals and connecting with others around our shared dining table.
Who’s this for? This course is for people living with a mental health problem. We will prioritise those with a serious mental health diagnosis such as bipolar or schizophrenia, and those for whom their mental health substantially affects their day to day activities.

- Learning and improving knife and kitchen skills
- Gaining knowledge of flavours and ingredients
- Discussing the connection between what we eat and how we feel
- Exploring key messages around healthy eating
- Growing in experience and confidence to create tasty meals with low-cost ingredients, including using up leftovers and batch cooking
Dates:
Wednesday 11th May 10.30am-1.30pm
