Uzbek Feast – Community Class
About this class
This class will extend your cookery repertoire into exciting new terrain as we explore classic dishes from Uzbekistan.

Learn to cook traditional dishes from Uzbekistan – taste and learn how the nation’s food has been influenced by many cultures from China to Turkey to Russia or even Korea.
A typical menu will include:
- Simple samosas with butternut squash and crispy onions
- Beet soup
- Tabbouleh Salad
Your leader is keen home cook and baker Nigora, who grew up learning these dishes from her mother and grandmother in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. She loves to share her joy for cooking with others, and particularly to bring Uzbek food to new people.
What previous participants said about Nigora’s classes: “Learning about how people eat in Uzbekistan – it was so, so interesting. The food was perfect.” “Four very different courses, all delicious, a well-planned menu. Want to recreate the dishes at home.” “Loved everything and Nigora is very professional.” “The atmosphere – lovely and friendly. Informative. Will try some of the dishes at home.”
