World of Food – school holiday cooking (for 7-13 year olds) – SOLD OUT

About this class

We are back this April half-term with our World of Food sessions for the young cook in your life. These fun, hands-on workshops with experienced cookery teacher and mum Jess will see your child learning classic cooking skills whilst creating tasty dishes. You may never want to cook again!

The menu for this session is:

  • coconut dahl
  • flatbread with raita
  • puff pastry veggie samosas

Skills covered include safe chopping technique, mixing and measuring.

Dietary requirements: The menu for the class is vegetarian. For any other dietary requirements or allergies, please contact us to discuss before booking.

Tickets for this event include:

  • professional cookery tuition
  • all ingredients and equipment
  • soft drinks available throughout the session
  • baked treats to taste and take away
  • all recipes from the class.

Booking instructions

Tickets for this event are £25 per child. We have a limited number of concession tickets at £15  for families in receipt of a means-tested benefit, use the drop-down to select this option. This session has been designed for those aged 7 to 13.

Refund policy:

We are unable to provide refunds except if there is a mistake with the booking and we are notified within 48 hours after booking. In the event of any change in government covid guidelines, we will reschedule classes if necessary and bookings will be valid for the new date or can be transferred to another event.

If your child is unable to attend the class for any reason, we encourage you to transfer your booking to another child who can attend in their place. Please provide us with the new attendee’s details before the class starts by emailing info@bhfood.org.uk. Thank you for your understanding and support.
