The Village Food Bank is an emerging initiative for low-income LGBTQ+ people and their dependents in the Brighton and Hove area to access food, toiletries other essential items and information in a welcoming and affirming community space.

When:

  • Mondays

Mondays (irregular, please contact to confirm dates), 4-6pm

Facilities:

Food and toiletries, a community table for simple activities and connection, professional information and advice.
Second floor room with lift access and disabled, gender neutral toilet.

Volunteer “Personal Shoppers” on hand to offer clients one-to-one support to use the service if needed.

Donations Requested:

Shelf-stable, unopened, in-date and labelled food, toiletries and household items are always welcome. Donation points at The Brighthelm Centre, The Ledward Centre and The Queery. Need your donations collected or have a large amount to give? Get in touch!
