Albion Community Garden offers local residents opportunities to garden, grow their own food, make new friendships and create a green space in an urban environment.
Managed by Albion Community Association and run by local volunteers, they organise events involving gardening to create social involvement and ownership.
They are currently making areas of wildflowers and re-wilding. The local GP surgery holds mindfulness sessions in the garden. They work with local businesses for joint composting and with neighbours for garden design and management.
When:

The garden is open for visitors every day from 8am- 8pm. Volunteers are needed at certain times of the year, especially over winter when they undertake major changes to the garden - please contact them if you are interested in taking part. The garden has a series of raised beds, each gardened by a local resident, and there are still some spaces available for new members of the group. Please contact Albion Community Garden directly if you are interested in getting involved.
