About this class
In this class, Sophie of SuperDoux vegan catering shares her tried and tested recipes for delicious sweet treats that you will want to bake again and again.
If you are trying out a vegan diet yourself, or baking for vegan friends or family, this class will give you the skills you need to improve your repertoire of tasty bakes free from eggs and dairy.
The menu includes:
- Chocolate shortbread – learn how to make it perfectly crumbly, buttery and crisp
- One-bowl chocolate cake – a rich, fudgy cake that can be used for cupcakes, birthday cakes or tray bakes
- Frangipane tart – learn how to use aquafaba in place of eggs, then decorate your tarts beautifully with seasonal fruit
- Lemon curd – a versatile and delicious recipe that can be used with a range of citrus fruits
On the day, you will take home your bakes, packaged and ready to be enjoyed at home. When you want to repeat the recipes later, all of these sweets will keep well in the fridge or freezer or can be made ahead and baked when you want to eat them.
