Chocolate spread (beans)

You will be pleasantly surprised and delighted by this 5-minute protein and fibre filled luscious chocolate spread.

Serves 4 people

Method

Combine all ingredients in a food processor or high-speed blender until smooth.

Add the water gradually to reach the preferred consistency.

Enjoy as a dip or on your morning toast.

Cook time: none    

1 can of chickpeas, drained and rinsed (400g)

4 dates, pitted

50g cocoa powder

40g chocolate chips

1 tsp vanilla extract

½ tsp salt

60 to 100g warm water (depending on the preferred texture)
