See what we get up to in our kitchen
The Community Kitchen can be hired by anyone wishing to organise their own event. The large dining table and well-equipped kitchen area makes it easy to host a wide range of activities, from supper clubs and dinner parties to community bake offs, team building days or entertaining clients.
hire times
Our general bookable sessions run Monday to Friday
- Morning: 9.00 am-2.00pm
- Evening: 5.00 pm -10pm
- We sometimes have slots available for booking in the afternoon for a few hours so contact us if you are interested in that option. We can also discuss pricing for full-days or multiple bookings
- Bookings are also available Saturday and Sunday for an additional fee, typically, £80 per 5-hour session, but please contact us if you wish to discuss.
Rates
Our rates for hire are based on the type of organisation. These prices are aimed at people running activities for the public. Sessions typically run for five hours (including any time to setup or clear-up):
- Large voluntary/ community organisation – £350
- Individual / small business/ other (under 5 members of staff) – £400
- Large business/ other – £550
For small voluntary/ community organisations (under £75K annual turnover) we can offer the following discounted rates for a 5 hour slot:
- Monday – Friday mornings: £135
- Monday – Friday evenings: £205
- Saturday & Sunday: £275
Other Services:
- BYOB: Available for £20 per session.
- Laundry: We have cotton aprons and tea towels available to use if you wish. Laundering costs are £20 per session.
- Kitchen assistant: We can organise a kitchen assistant to support your event for an hourly rate (min. 5 hours)
Facilities and equipment
