Plant Based Dining with Chef Sophie

About this class

If you are interested in recreating meat alternatives of some your favourite meals from before you went meat free or looking to go meat free then this is the class for you.

During the evening, Sophie of SuperDoux vegan catering will share her tried and tested recipes for a perfect plant based dinner party or special night in. She is passionate about veganising dishes with an emphasis on creativity and understanding professional flavours and textures.

In the class you will learn to make seitan, a delicious meat alternative made from wheat gluten and how to turn the humble carrot into a unique and smoky dish. These taste delicious when cooked from scratch and reduce the need for you to buy pre made alternatives from the supermarket.

With the support of Sophie you will work in pairs to create:

  • Seitan “Duck” pancakes
  • Seitan Korean crispy “chicken”
  • Carrot lox “smoked salmon” blinis

Dietary information: The menu for this class is vegan and involves cooking with nuts, seeds and gluten. For any other allergies or dietary requirements, please contact us to discuss before booking.
