Felicity Cloake, the award-winning author of the Guardian’s long-running How to Make the Perfect recipe column on her latest, Red Sauce Brown Sauce: A British Breakfast Odyssey.
Felicity will be talking about her book with Gilly while serving up a celebration of some of the country’s best loved, and most underrated breakfasts, from Manx kippers and Welsh seaweed to hog’s pudding and Glamorgan sausages and, of course, homemade red and brown sauce so you can vote with your mouths. Please note, no hash browns will be harmed in the making of this event.

Supper Club Menu:
- Staffordshire oatcake blinis with Manx kippers or carrot bacon and mustard pickles
- Victorian devilled eggs
- Soda farls with Marmite butter
- Cockle fritters or bubble and squeak cakes with laverbread and caper mayo
- The Full English cassoulet and a sharply dressed green salad or Glamorgan sausages and slow-roasted tomatoes with watercress
- Marmalade tart with whisky and oat cream
