You are invited to join us for Tea, Cake and Music Making in the delightful Demo Garden at Preston Park. Those living with Dementia and their carers are warmly welcomed to our Dementia friendly tea party with Music for Connection on 1-3pm Monday July 17th.

We will share homemade refreshments and chat before Music for Connection lead an interactive musical session. No musical experience necessary and foot tappers welcome!

This free session is suitable for anyone who would might enjoy gentle and friendly activity in the fresh air. The garden is wheelchair accessible with a toilet close by and good bus services a short distance away.

This event is completely free.

I think it has been wonderful for me and we have made some good friends. Everyone has really gelled together and supported one another – we’ve had some great chats… Just being in the garden is wonderful.

Who is it for?: People with mild to moderate dementia or other memory issues.
