Small-plate cooking the Chinese way!
Chinese cuisine has long embraced what many in the UK are only just discovering today – that you get more bang for your buck with bite-sized dishes. In this hands-on course, you will be taken on a journey of discovery to learn about the different styles of dim sum and the specialist ingredients needed for them, before preparing and cooking your own using a traditional steamer basket over a wok.
You will create siu mai, a type of open wonton, and learn three types of folds for dumplings with different flavourings and fillings (vegetarian/ vegan option available).

Tickets for this event include:

- a full meal at our sociable dining table (you are welcome to bring your own drinks to enjoy with the meal)

Tickets for this event are £45 per person, or £40 (per person) when booking two or more tickets at once. We have a limited number of tickets available at a concession rate of £30 for those who are in receipt of a means-tested benefit, under-18s (must be accompanied by an adult), as well as full-time students. Refund policy:
We offer a full refund if you change or cancel your place up to 14 days before your class. If you cancel between seven and 14 days before your class, we offer a 50% refund. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer refunds when a place is cancelled less than seven days before the class is due to take place.
