Join popular food writer, presenter and Community Kitchen favourite Lerato Umah-Shaylor as we explore the horn of Africa. Lerato will show you how to become a master of spice. She will teach you the bewitching berbere spice blend, the Doro wot stew and a speedy version of Injera – the much-loved bread of the region. All these recipes are from her amazing new cookbook, Africana.
Under her expert guidance, You will work in pairs, and typically prepare dishes such as:
- Berbere Spice Blend
- Berbere Doro wot Stew (with chicken or veg)
- Quick Injera
- Braised Greens
