Festive Community Baking (community cookery)
About this class
Who can attend? People who can attend an in-person cookery session. Attendees must be either social housing residents, on means-tested benefits, have a long-term physical or Mental health condition or be older people living alone (50+)
We will cook in pairs and share tasty recipes and tips for baking biscuits and cakes that impress. No previous skills required. Our Community Cookery Leader Charlotte will demonstrate essential skills and help you avoid common mistakes. In just a few hours you will create and takeaway bakes such as:
- Seasonal fruit pie – make your own pastry and home-made fruit filling. Great for a seasonal party or shared meal!
- Citrus spiced amaretti – perfect to bag up and give as gifts
Join us for a relaxing and friendly session and leave with new skills and inspiration.
