About this class
This cookery class has been funded by Southern Housing Group and is open to Brighton & Hove residents living in social housing. See below for eligibility information. 
Get the facts on what foods belong on an every-day healthy plate plus great ideas to for replacing any unhealthy snack favourites.
Experienced cookery teacher Charlotte Fuller demystifies those confusing healthy eating messages, giving you simple tips to help you eat better. We will share quick, tasty snack recipes that suit kids and adults alike. In just a few hours you will create, taste and takeaway:
• cheesy carrot squares
• low sugar oat biscuits
• veggie scotch pancakes
• herby soft cheese dip
Join us for a relaxing and friendly session and leave with new skills and inspiration.
Covid-19 safety measures
We’ve taken time to develop new procedures and systems to keep participants, volunteers and staff safe, find out more here. For those who have attended our classes in the past, the key changes are that we now ask everyone to wear a face covering throughout the class (except during outside breaks), we no longer share a meal at the end but will package food to takeaway, and we are of course keeping to social distancing during the classes.
Who can attend?
Brighton & Hove residents living in social housing properties who are able to participate independently and attend an in person cookery session.
Costs:
We ask for a suggested donation of £5 on the day of the class, payments can be made by cash or card.
If travel/ transport costs will be an issue for you, please contact us as we may be able to help.
