About this class
Inspired by his food tours, Chef Kanthi brings the authentic tastes of Sri Lanka to the Community Kitchen, sharing his professional cooking techniques and flavour combinations so you can prepare a delicious Sri Lankan meal in Brighton.
You will work in pairs, and typically prepare dishes such as: a classic coconut sambol, Sri Lankan aubergine, green gram (mung bean) salad, Kukul Mas Curry – a local chicken (or vegetable) curry -and Kaha Bath (traditional yellow rice).
Dietary information: This class is adaptable for vegetarian and vegan diets but this must be specified when booking. The menu is also gluten-free however we cannot guarantee the kitchen is a fully gluten-free environment. The class involves cooking with nuts.
