World of Food – school holiday cooking (for 7-13 year olds) –

About this class

A chance for your child to learn classic cookery skills while creating tasty treats! This session features the cuisine of  the Middle East.

We are back this summer holiday with our World of Food sessions for the young cook in your life. These fun, hands-on workshops with experienced cookery teacher Cat Rochefort will see your child learning classic cookery skills. You may never want to cook again!

The menu for this summer mezze-themed session is:

  • Falafels
  • Tzatziki dip
  • Tiropita – Mini cheese filo pies

Skills covered include safe knife use (the bridge and the claw), safe frying, mixing and measuring.

Dietary requirements: The menu for the class is vegetarian. For any dietary requirements or allergies, please contact us to discuss before booking.

Tickets for this event include:

  • professional cookery tuition
  • all ingredients and equipment
  • a light meal to eat at the end of class or taste and take away
  • all recipes from the class

Booking instructions

Tickets for this event are NOW ON SALE AT £20.00 per child. We have a limited number of concession tickets at £15  for families in receipt of a means-tested benefit, use the drop-down to select this option. This session has been designed for those aged 7 to 13.

Please note: This class is for children only. Please drop off your child before the session and pick them up at the end.

Refund policy:

We are unable to provide refunds except if there is a mistake with the booking and we are notified within 48 hours after booking. If your child is unable to attend the class for any reason, we encourage you to transfer your booking to another child who can attend in their place. Please provide us with the new attendee’s details before the class starts by emailing info@bhfood.org.uk. Thank you for your understanding and support.
